Pizza and pie crusts can seem like the most elusive of creatures, and even more so when you factor in the added challenge of creating them from gluten-free flours. There are definitely different ways to handle GF dough, and a lot of variation in the ingredients of GF flour. Chef Christy guides you through the identification of flours and their properties and shows you how to roll out the perfect pie shell. This hands-on class will create several pies using different dough ingredients to taste and compare, and will include both sweet and savory pies.
